Overview: Join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a correctional facility in Somerset, PA. In this role, you'll provide essential patient care services within a secure environment, supporting the health and well-being of individuals in custody. This position offers a structured schedule with the flexibility to float between shifts, ensuring variety and engagement in your daily responsibilities.

Job Details: Weekly Pay: $1,115 gross. Pay Rate: $11/hour, OT at $30/hour. Work Shifts: 8-hour shifts, up to two different shifts in a two-week period. Contract Length: Ongoing assignment, starting 08/03/2026 or every other week. Guarantee Hours: 40 hours per week. Extra Pay: Weekly stipend of $675. Locals Welcome: Yes. Overtime Available.

Required Skills:

  • Valid CNA certification
  • Experience working in correctional or similar healthcare settings preferred
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism

Nice to Have Skills:

  • BLS certification
  • Experience with shift flexibility and float assignments
  • Knowledge of inmate population health needs

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • State-certified CNA license
  • Prior experience in correctional or healthcare environments

Other Requirements:

  • Must work in Somerset, PA setting
  • Ability to work hours needed for 8-hour shifts, including major holidays
  • Willingness to work up to two shifts per two-week period, with weekends off
