Join a leading acute-care hospital in Boerne, TX, as a Contract RN in the Emergency Department (ER). With a focus on providing high-quality emergency services, you'll be part of a compassionate team dedicated to stabilizing critical patients and ensuring rapid evaluation and treatment.
The Emergency Department features:
- A freestanding emergency center open 24/7, 365 days a year
- 15 treatment rooms, including trauma/cardiac care rooms and fast-track non-urgent treatment rooms
- Full range of services including radiology, full-service laboratory, and telemetry
- Immediate intervention for serious emergencies
Unit Highlights:
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
- Weekend: Rotating weekends or 4 weekend shifts per schedule; holidays per unit policy
- Call Requirements: No
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of ER experience
- Active TX RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH certifications
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills:
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy
- Hair: Neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
- Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
