Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse in Lubbock, TX! We are seeking experienced RNs with a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center, where you can make a significant impact on patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float between units as needed.
- Provide care for patients with complex medical conditions, including CV surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVD's, and Neurosurgery.
- Interpret lab results and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- 3 years of travel experience required.
- Weekend shifts required (6 shifts for unit needs).
- Expected nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2.
- No on-call required.
- Block schedules are not required.
Facility Highlights:
- Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care.
- Total Staffed Beds: 379.
Uniform/Dress Code:
- Licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) must wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire (scrub tops may have colored piping).
- Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital.
- Unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT) must wear solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire.
