Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse in Lubbock, TX. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while providing critical care to patients. As an ICU RN, you will float between units, ensuring that you meet the diverse needs of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the ICU, including those with CV surgery, trauma, and ventilator support.
- Perform lab interpretation and manage chest tubes, central venous lines (CVL), and external ventricular drains (EVD).
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to the dress code, wearing solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of travel experience in an ICU setting.
- Experience with trauma, neurosurgery, and critical care procedures.
- Ability to work weekends, with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts to fulfill unit needs.
- Expected patient ratios of 1:2.
