Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Issaquah, WA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where camaraderie thrives. Enjoy the flexibility of choosing between 13 or 26-week contracts, with the option to request up to 2 major holidays off, working only 1 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Years/Eve).
As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients experiencing labor and preterm labor. The unit features 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms, and you will be involved in various aspects of patient care including circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, and scrub duties. The facility is known for its beautiful campus, often referred to as "Issa-spa," and offers a vibrant community with staff book clubs and group dinners.
Requirements:
- 2 Years of Experience Required
- 1st Time Travelers Accepted
- Epic Experience Required
- Certifications Required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
- ACLS certification preferred
Patient Diagnoses: Labor/Preterm labor
Special Procedures: Blood/Blood Products Administration, Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket, Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps, Syringe Pumps, Wound Vac, Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate.
Special Equipment: Attends All Deliveries, High Risk Deliveries, GYN Surgeries, Couplet Care, Low Risk Antepartum, Transition Nursery.
Staffing Ratio: 1:1-3
Float: Yes, to Post-Partum and possibly L&D at Swedish First Hill.
