Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Spokane, WA. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on high-risk labor and delivery. As a first-time L&D RN, you will float between units, providing care to laboring patients with various needs, including antepartum care, pre-eclampsia management, and maternal emergencies.
In this role, you will be part of a team in a Short Term Acute Care facility with 629 staffed beds, recognized as a Level II Trauma Center and a teaching hospital. You will work night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with some weekend shifts required. The expected patient ratios are Labor 1:2 and Antepartum 1:3.
Special requirements for this position include experience in Acute Care High Risk Labor and Delivery, induction/augmentation, and active management of laboring patients. You will not be required to be on-call, and block scheduling is not necessary.
