Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse in Tyler, TX. This is a contract position in a dynamic healthcare environment where you will provide exceptional care to patients in a medical-surgical and oncology/hematology unit.
6 North is a general medical-surgical and oncology/hematology unit with telemetry capability. The unit is composed of 36 private rooms, 18 of which are medical-surgical and 18 designated for oncology patients. You will care for young adult through geriatric oncology and hematology patients throughout the varying stages of their disease process. The unit may also receive general medical/surgical overflow patients.
Please note that the facility does not contract travelers residing in the following counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
