Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg in Amarillo, TX. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for both seasoned professionals and first-time travelers. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to a Med/Surg patient population.
- Monitor telemetry patients in a centralized unit.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:6.
- Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as required.
- Collaborate with a free-floating charge nurse and a house discharge nurse who supports all departments.
Certifications Required:
- BLS certification is mandatory.
Charting: Epic
This position adheres to a 50-mile radius rule, and local candidates are not eligible. The shift is a Day 3x12-Hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:30, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.
