Join our team as an MRI Technologist at a leading acute-care hospital in Charlotte, NC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will provide exceptional care to patients across a variety of settings.

- Level I Trauma Center
- Level 1 Pediatric Trauma
- Teaching Hospital
- Chest Pain Center
- Stroke Center
Department Information:
- Average patients/day: 40-45
- Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year
- First-time travelers are welcome!
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Adults and Pediatrics from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses.
Required License and Certifications:
- ARRT(R) or NMTCB
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
- BLS
- State Licensure is not required
Skills Required:
Confident in clinical skill sets with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment. Strong communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude are preferred.
Support within the Department:
All departments have a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager. You will be part of a diverse team with various years of experience, from new grads to long-tenured teammates.
Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
- Department specific Equipment: Siemens 1.5T magnets
Orientation:
- Facility tour and departmental introductions
- 5 days departmental orientation, flexible based on traveler needs
Scheduling:
- No rotations between weekends and weekdays; travelers will stay on their contracted shifts
- Call requirement varies with fair rotation among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates
- Holiday coverage expected unless approved off in advance
- Travelers work the same shift and times as agreed upon in the contract
