About the Position: We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience and will be confident in their clinical skill sets, able to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment. This position will involve working with both adults and pediatrics from various departments including the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses.
Department Information: The department averages 40-45 patients per day and is supported by a diverse team, including a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager. We value good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certification
- State Licensure is not required
Technology/Equipment: The department utilizes EPIC as the EMR and Siemens 1.5T magnets for imaging.
Scheduling and Expectations:
- No rotations between weekends and weekdays; travelers will stay on days and shifts per contract.
- Call requirements will vary and will be staffed with a fair rotation among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates.
- Travelers are expected to assist with holiday coverage unless previously approved off.
- Shifts are filled based on current vacancies, with no rotation but per contract on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts or weekends as needed.
