Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg and Telemetry unit in Charleston, WV. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing care to patients with various medical conditions including cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry needs.
Unit Description: 32 Beds.
Years of Experience Required: 2 Years RN Experience; 1 Year In-Specialty Experience. First-timers accepted if experience requirements are met.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required.
Certifications Required: BLS/BCLS; ACLS.
As a Registered Nurse, you may be floated within your scope if needed. Please note that the manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests. A valid WV/Compact RN License is required, and you can submit with a pending RN license. There are 36 hours guaranteed per week.
RTO Restrictions: None - must include on application/profile and discuss with the manager during the interview.
Submission Requirements: Permanent employees cannot return to the facility as a traveler for 2 years after their last day worked permanently. Please do not send anyone who refuses the flu shot without medical proof. The facility requires all personnel to take the flu vaccine unless there is documented allergy proof from an allergist or physician record. The flu season runs from October 1st to March 31st; it is not required outside of that window. The COVID vaccine is not required.
