We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse to join our expanding unit in Beckley, WV. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on Med Surg and Telemetry care.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of current experience, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5/1:6. Familiarity with Meditech EMR is preferred. Candidates must hold a valid West Virginia or compact nursing license and possess current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH certifications.
Please note that flu vaccination is required, and declinations will not be accepted. Medical and religious exemptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Key responsibilities include floating within the scope of practice and working every other weekend. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. All facilities work a schedule of 36/48 for the two-week pay period unless otherwise noted. Ratios may fluctuate based on census and call-ins. Once an offer is made, no RTO edits or timecard edits will be accepted after the pay period closes. Orientation occurs bi-weekly, and the start date listed is the date needed.
Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted. Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of an offer. An ARH coversheet and a valid driver's license are required in all submission packets. Please do not submit candidates to more than one job at a time.
