Join a leading healthcare provider as a Stepdown Registered Nurse in Morgantown, WV! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and provide exceptional care to patients in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for patients in the Stepdown/Immediate Care Unit.
  • Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 1.5-2+ years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in MS/Tele and 2 years in Stepdown.
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • Ability to read telemetry strips.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with a limit of 2 holiday RTO requests.

Unit Information:

The Stepdown Unit (SDU) accommodates patients with varying acuity levels, including those who may require Progressive Care or Telemetry monitoring. Blocked schedules will be considered for weekend shifts (Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday).

Additional Information:

  • Scrubs are not provided; candidates should wear burgundy and/or white scrubs.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system used: Cerner.
