Join a leading acute-care hospital in Cleveland, OH, as a Med Surg, Telemetry Registered Nurse. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a difference in patient care. As a Med Surg, Telemetry RN, you will have the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population. The facility will do its best to honor travelers' preferred shifts but reserves the right to rotate them if necessary to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
  • MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or a Compact State license in hand.
  • AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
  • Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both assessments.
