Join a leading acute-care hospital in Cleveland, OH, as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care. As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
**Requirements:**
- Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
- Must possess a valid Ohio RN license or a Compact State license.
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
- Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation is required.
**Shift Information:**
This position involves rotating shifts: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the facility, although traveler preferences will be honored whenever possible.
