Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued and utilized to their fullest potential. As a Med Surg, Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

In this role, you may float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population. The facility will do their best to honor your preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate shifts if necessary to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
  • MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
  • AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
  • Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
