Join a leading acute-care hospital in Cleveland, OH, as a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will provide care to patients in the Med-Surg and Telemetry units. You may float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Participate in patient and family education.
**Requirements:**
- MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
- MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
**Shift Information:**
This position offers rotating shifts: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may be variable if needed to meet the operational needs of the facility. The facility will do their best to honor travelers' preferred shifts but reserves the right to rotate them if necessary.
