Join a leading acute-care hospital as a NICU Registered Nurse in Apple Valley, CA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where you will care for newborns with complex medical needs. With an average of 190 births per month, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to infants in the NICU.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate families on care practices and the needs of their infants.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in the NICU specialty.
- BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required.
- First-timers are accepted.
- Must be open to scheduling requests and accommodate unit needs.
- Guaranteed hours: The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
This position requires night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:30. Weekend shifts may be required every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding this to meet unit needs. Please note that all requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and will be approved based on the facility's needs.
