Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Leonardtown, MD! We are seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to provide exceptional care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting. This is a contract position with night shifts available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the PCU/Step Down unit.
- Float to Telemetry and/or Medical-Surgical units as needed.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4 in the IMC unit and 1:5/1:6 in other units.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required.
- Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
- Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
- Every other weekend coverage required.
- Flu vaccine is mandatory for all employees.
