Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Leonardtown, MD, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a leading healthcare facility. We are committed to supporting our nurses and ensuring a fulfilling work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down settings.
- Float between IMC and medical units, occasionally assisting with medicine/IMC level boarders in the ED and ICU as needed.
- Monitor telemetry patients and manage cardiac telemetry.
- Work with a patient ratio of 1:4 in IMC and 1:5-6 in MedSurg.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC/PCU/MS Float Pool.
- Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
- All employees are required to have the Flu vaccine.

- Clinician reports to staffing office for float assignment.
