About the Facility: This facility is a Level I Trauma Center with 874 licensed beds, a Level I Pediatric Trauma designation, and recognized as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center. The hospital averages 350-400 patients per day, ensuring a fast-paced and engaging work environment.
Department Information: The radiology department is equipped with advanced technology, including Shimadzu RadSpeed general rad rooms and GE and Siemens R/F rooms. You will have the support of a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for both new graduates and experienced professionals.
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics from the Emergency Department, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT-R certification
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
Scheduling and Orientation: This position features a 12-hour day shift with no rotations between weekends and weekdays. Travelers will work the same shift as per the contract. Orientation includes a facility tour and departmental introductions, with flexibility based on the needs of the traveler.
