The hospital features a wide range of specialties and is equipped with advanced technology to support patient care. As a Travel RN, you will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 6:1, with the possibility of up to 7:1, and providing care for adult patients in trauma, orthopedic, and surgical settings.

  • Weekend Hours: Varied; requirement of 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule (expect to be scheduled at least 2 of the 4 weekends)

  • Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to units with comparable patient populations

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 44 beds across two nursing stations/units
  • Patient Population: Adult, trauma, ortho, urology, colorectal, surgical
  • EHR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have Skills/Experience: EPIC experience, ability to manage a 7:1 patient ratio, trauma experience
  • Personality Fit: Flexible, friendly, and willing to work
  • Required Education: All agency staff must pass a dysrhythmia and math of dosage test prior to being on the unit

Dress Code:

  • No designated scrub color; staff must maintain a professional appearance
  • No facial piercings other than a one-sided nose stud; hoops are not acceptable

All candidates must complete and clear screenings prior to starting. Orientation is weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be located 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel.
