  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Location: Johnstown, PA
  • Unit Profile: 22 Beds, Patient Ratios: 1:6 (can be up to 1:7 depending on ED Holds)
  • Required Certifications: NIH and Swallow Screen preferred
  • Experience: 2+ years in a similar setting

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EHR.
  • Participate in orientation and training sessions as required.

**Requirements:**

  • Must have Trach and Vent experience.
  • Competency in dysrhythmia is essential; a dysrhythmia and math dosage test will be conducted on day one of orientation.
  • Availability for holidays as determined during phone screening.

**Additional Information:**

All candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start. Orientation is weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel positions.
