Position Information:
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Trauma/Ortho/Surgical
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36; opportunities for 48 hours/week available
- Weekend Hours: Varied; requirement of 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
- Patient Ratios: 6:1 (can be up to 7:1)
- Required Experience: 2+ years
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 44 beds spread across two nursing stations/units
- EHR: EPIC
- Patient Population: Adult, trauma, ortho, urology, colorectal, surgical
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: EPIC experience, ability to manage a 7:1 patient ratio, trauma
- Required Education: All agency staff must pass a dysrhythmia and math of dosage test with the education department prior to being on the unit
Orientation is weekly on Mondays, and all candidates must have complete and clear screenings prior to start. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel. Enjoy the rich cultural offerings of Johnstown, including the Johnstown Flood Museum and the Johnstown Inclined Plane.
