Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry in Olathe, KS. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including cardiac drips and TR Bands.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to all acute care units as needed, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in patient care.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience required.
- Experience with TR Bands, cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem), and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process preferred.
- New graduates are not accepted for this position.
License/Certification Requirements:
- Current Kansas RN license.
- BLS certification required.
This facility is a nicotine-free environment. Please note that the client may cancel one shift per 2-week pay period at no cost to the client and no pay to the employee, with a minimum 2-hour notice via the Smart Square app.
Creds are due one week prior to the Monday start; CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
Payroll is processed bi-weekly.
