Join a leading acute-care hospital as an RN in the Emergency Department (ED) in Boston, MA. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled nurses looking to make a difference in a busy environment. Position Details:
- Shift: 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with 2 weekends required in a 4-week schedule period and every other holiday.
- Contract Duration: 14 weeks, with a start date of 10/05/2026. Must stay through 1/9/27.
- Local vs Travel: Talent residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be at a local rate, which is $10 less than the posted bill rate.
- Floating: Must be flexible with floating to Psych ED and Pedi ED (caring for age 15+ patients in pedi unless previous pedi experience).
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of RECENT Level I or II ED experience and/or 2+ years of RECENT Level 3/4 ED experience.
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks, passing a Telemetry Test on Day 1 (85% or higher).
Preferred Experience:
- EPIC, previous travel assignments, and critical care experience.
Required Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS (must be active/unexpired).
Patient Ratio: 1:4-5 patients (depending on acuity).
Department Details: This is a very busy ED, holding up to 120 treatment areas and serving 350-440 patients per day. Please note that travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms while on assignment.
