Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Brownwood, TX. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
As a Medical Surgical RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during their hospital stay. This role requires strong clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Shift information includes a Day 3x12-Hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:00. Candidates should be prepared for on-call duties, with one shift per six-week schedule and six weekend shifts within the same timeframe (Saturday and Sunday are considered weekend shifts).
This position may consider candidates who are at least 50 miles from the facility on a case-by-case basis.
