Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Float Registered Nurse in St. Louis, MO. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units as needed.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 during days and weekends, and 1:6 for nights.
- Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Utilize lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanners (training provided).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required.
- BCLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; IV start and Telemetry certification required.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum, plus holiday rotation obligation.
- Open to first-time travelers.
- Must be able to accommodate no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract.
- Pending licenses accepted; local candidates within a 75-mile radius are welcome.
