Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of Telemetry RN experience required.
- MO or Compact RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- BSN preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to float between units as needed.
- Weekend and holiday shifts are required unless specified in RTO.
Contract Details:
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
- Scheduled hours: 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715.
- Orientation includes a 2-day program at the KC Campus followed by unit-specific training.
- Biweekly pay schedule.
- Employees are allowed one shift cancellation per pay period without penalty.
