Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in St. Louis, MO. Position Details:

  • Contract Duration: 12 weeks
  • Start Date: 11/23/2026
  • Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
  • Experience Required: 2 years
  • First-timers accepted: Yes
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Certifications Required: ACLS/BLS
  • Floating Requirement: Yes, within service line when needed
  • Local Candidates: Accepted (home address must be at least 75 miles from facility)
  • Pending License Accepted: Yes
  • RTO Restrictions: Up to 2 requests, no more than a total of 40 hours (5 days) of time off during contract

Special Requirements: You will care for unit patients waiting to be admitted into the hospital, starting their care in the Emergency Department until a bed is available. Responsibilities include interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, feeding tube care and management, pre/post hemodialysis management, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, heparin protocols, managing cardiac drips (no titration), PCA, thrombolytic agents, substance withdrawal, ortho trauma, traction, nasal cannula, oxygen fact masks, portable oxygen tank, and isolation precautions. You will need to pass the Relias EKG exam.
