Join a leading acute-care hospital in Charleston, WV, as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. We are looking for dedicated RNs who are ready to make a difference in the lives of patients with cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry conditions.

Unit Description: 5W MedSurg Tele, 32 Beds

Shift Details: Day shifts, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00), weekdays, with every other weekend required. Orientation is held every other week on Thursday.

Requirements:

  • 2 Years RN Experience; 1 Year In-Specialty Experience
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Certifications Required: BLS/BCLS; ACLS
  • WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license
  • 36 hours guaranteed
  • RTO Restrictions: None - must include on application/profile and discuss with manager during interview

Submission Requirements:

  • Permanent employees cannot return to the facility as a traveler for 2 years after the last day worked as a permanent employee.
  • Flu Shot: Candidates who refuse the flu shot without medical proof will not be considered. The facility requires all personnel to take the flu vaccine unless they have an allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. Flu season is from October 1st to March 31st; not required outside of that window.
  • Covid Vaccine: Not required.
  • One PDF must contain: Candidate profile (work history), Specialty specific skills checklist, Minimum 2 Manager/Charge References (within the past 2 years), RN License verification (clean license required), Driver's License, SSN.
