Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Great Barrington, MA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a serene environment that prioritizes patient care and comfort. As part of the nursing team, you will collaborate closely with obstetricians and midwives to meet the birthing preferences and needs of families.
As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and guidance to mothers and their newborns. Your expertise will contribute to a supportive atmosphere that includes private rooms, specialized operating rooms for Cesarean births, and around-the-clock anesthesia services. Your role is vital in ensuring high patient satisfaction and maintaining the quality of care that this facility is known for.
Please note that to be considered for this assignment, you must have a valid Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) uploaded with your traveler profile. It is crucial to adhere to the following guidelines during your assignment:
- Requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at the time of upload. RTO requests made after upload or during the interview will not be approved.
- No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted; less is preferred.
- Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after, the weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, and the weekend after New Year's Eve through New Year's Day.
- There is an 8-hour non-billable orientation requirement.
